Introduction: Cute Crocheted American Girl Doll Dress

Hi guys! Today I am going to show you how to crochet a super easy American Girl Doll dress. In this pattern you will see that I wrote out the stitches instead of using abbreviations because I use many different stitches and don't want to confuse you. Also, you can use any colors you want for this dress.I am using a teal for the dress and yellow and white for the flowers. By the way, I used a size G hook for this project. I hope that you enjoy this pattern!

Step 1: Rounds 1&2

Chain 42

Single crochet in the next 7 stitches

Crochet 3 single crochets in the same stitch

Single crochet in the next 7 stitches

Crochet 3 single crochets in the same stitch

Single crochet in the next 10 stitches

Crochet 3 single crochets in the same stitch

Single crochet in the next 7 stitches

Crochet 3 single crochets in the same stitch

Single crochet in the next 7 stitches

And now you're done with rounds 1&2!

Step 2: Round 3

Chain 1

Half double crochet in the next 6 stitches

Crochet 3 half double crochets in the same stitch

Half double crochet in the next 9 stitches

Crochet 3 half double crochets in the same stitch

Half double crochet in the next 12 stitches

Crochet 3 half double crochets in the same stitch

Half double crochet in the next 9 stitches

Crochet 3 half double crochets in the same stitch

Half double crochet in the next 7 stitches

And now you're done with round 3!

Step 3: Round 4

Chain 1

Half double crochet in the next 9 stitches

Crochet 3 half double crochets in the same stitch

Half double crochet in the next 10 stitches

Crochet 3 half double crochets in the same stitch

Half double crochet in the next 14 stitches

Crochet 3 half double crochets in the same stitch

Half double crochet in the next 11 stitches

Crochet 3 half double crochets in the same stitch

Half double crochet in the next 7 stitches

And now you're done with round 4!

Step 4: Round 5

Chain 1

Double crochet in the next 8 stitches

Crochet 3 double crochets in the same stitch

Chain 11

Count 14 stitches away from the first chain and double crochet in that stitch

Double crochet in the next 17 stitches

Chain 11

Count 12 stitches away from the first chain and double crochet in that stitch

Double crochet in the next 10 stitches

And now you're done with round 5!

Step 5: Round 6

Chain 1

For this round all you have to do is single crochet around 1 time

And you're done with round 6!

Step 6: Round 7

Chain 1

For this round all you have to do is double crochet around 1 time

Repeat rounds 6&7 until you have a total of 19 rows not including the rows we did before round 6

And you will be done with the dress!

Step 7: Round 19

When you are done with round 19 tie off your yarn

For the back of the dress you can attach buttons to secure the dress.

Step 8: The Flowers

Sc 6 in a magic loop (using yellow yarn)

Tie off your yarn and switch to white yarn

Chain 6

Slip stitch into the same stitch we did our first chain in

Repeat these steps all the way around the magic loop

When you reach the end, tie off your yarn and connect the flower to the dress

And you're done with the whole entire dress!
